Blow torch?

Hey fellows............... I dug this up and it appears to be a little torch of some kind. I can't find any writing of any kind on the darn thing. It's either copper or brass and I was wondering if any of you guys have ever seen one of these before? Thanks for any help on this thing. HH.

Hi Eddie,

Could it be an old carbide lamp of some type, the oldies here used to use carbide lamps for possum shooting and they threw a brilliant white light.
Put in a few carbide rocks, add water and light the nozzle.
