very beautiful country up there. Sherry would love to see the Aurora Borialis (northern lights) only once has she caught of glimpse of them in her life (and that was up here). With out tree coverage we have limitied view of the sky. A friend who could see the northern lights called us or we'd have missed them. When I was in the military in Michigan's Upper Penninsula I had seen it many times in the 8 years I was up there. Love the cool ship...is it a tugboat with the face and cap - that is so cool. Like the wood carving of the metal detecting guy. Saw the huge crab on the sign and a science fiction thingy passed through my brain about radiation causing huge insects (movie called THEM! abd was back about the 1950s) then the next pic of the boat anchor made me think that was the fish hook that caught that huge crab.
Ok so I have a strange sense of reality
Thanks for sharing your pics Leslie and if ya get any more aurora borialis let me know so I can pass em on to Sherry.
