books on PI's

What source teaches the basics of PI's. Any web site other than this one or a certain book(s)

Hi John,
Try the Geotechnology website for basic information on PI detectors. Click on the "metal detectors" link and then select one of the PI projects such as the Mark Stuart Microcontroller PI.
One can search the net for PI information also and find some basic information. However, there is nothing better than experimenting by building one to find out how they really work.
Hope this helps.
