Was out first time at beach with exp II and it really works well. Makes my old XLT look like a toy detector. I was pulling up pennies in salt wet sand at 10 inches. It found them easily and they were not even weak signlas. I like it a LOT.

I found the same to be true with the Quattro. I liked it so much, I had to have an Explorer II too. Got my first silver and gold today with it. Post to follow...
