Can any one give me any info on this lock it is marked POMER&Co 3 NEWARK N J. I found a pic of a brass lock marked ROMER + CO. 218, NEWARK N.J.

...there is nothing on Pomer & Co, but quite a few hits for Romer, in Newark, NJ, a manufacturer of railway locks and keys.
From the ebay auction, link below with pic of key:
Lock is in working cond. with key. Stamped ROMER & CO 2. Lock measures about 1 1/2" across and is in good cond. for age. Buyer to pay $4 shipping.
