Pulled this from a parking strip last week. Its heavy so thinking brass and no corrosion per se. the post on the bottom is not threaded. Wife tried reverse image search but all we got was knife handles. No idea how old or era it came from

A drop pull cabinet/drawer handle? Possibly with a glass knob?

Well thats the closest thing so far. Might take it to my cabinet maker friend!
