Brian's Battle - 02/04/10 - Pain

Some days Brian does great and has minimal pain and others he has periods of intense pain.

Tuesday afternoon his pain seemed to intensify and that evening while watching Lost he started complaining more frequently of the pain.

He had a very rough night sleeping and the intense pain hasn't let up. We kept the pulse/ox monitor on him and his heart rate stayed high which is an indicater of pain. Normally his heart rate is around 90 at rest and yesterday it fluctuated between 118 and 130. He is asleep now and his rate is 109.

We called our home health nurse and she increased his frequency of pain med doses to see if that would help. His heart rate has continued to stay on the high side so we'll watch him closely today.

Sorry to hear that Brian's pain has increased in intensity! God's Holy Spirit had me praying for him between l:30 to 2:00 am not last night but the night before! He kept urging me to pray so I prayed on and off for about 45 mins to possibly an hour! Don't know what was wrong or why but it was needed! I am not bragging but just wondering why??? Didn't pray last night but do pray for him on and off when he comes to my mind! He is such a brave young lad and it is so sad that him and so many others have to suffer the illnesses and pains of this sinful and corrupted world! The food and air are so full of pollutants and chemicals that lots and lots of prayer is needed for each of us! Brian, Billy and the others will be healed in Jesus' healing virtue, either while here or when their spirits go back to God who gave it, and then receive their immortal and incorruptible bodies during the rapture of God's saints! Our spirits will receive new, perfect bodies when saved in Jesus! Amen! May God Bless you all! Amen! :angel: Ma Betty
