Brian's Battle - Couple of Posts Update.........

...this morning. Carol said she didn't see any when she gave Brian his morning round of medications and I just checked him and all looks good.

Maybe he caused it when he yawned last night, we just don't know for sure. He was really worried that he was going to go to Heaven last night.

He is sleeping great right now!

A great day today!

For the most part today was great!! Brian has felt better and managed a few smiles today too. No sign of bleeding either! He also got in an hour or so of book learnin' today.

We did get Carol's van fixed today. After I spent most of Sunday using my keen deductive reasoning skills I had narrowed down the problem to a bad ignition switch. I called auto parts store A to see if the parts were in stock. Turns out they had to order one part from store B and it would be at store A by 2:15.

I check my Facebook page and our family friend, Sylvia sends me a message to call her husband Randy about the car. Randy knows cars. He was literally born with a wrench in his hand. But, it

I pulled the whole front end off my jeep to change the water pump, just to find out that a clamp had rusted into on the heater hose that is on the top of the water pump. It was leaking down behind the pump and looked liked it was leaking from the seal.Never the less after the skined knuckles I aquired tearing it down, it got a new pump whether it needed it or not. Think of all the extra learning experience we would miss if we didn't mess up now and then.

Thanks Doug for a delightful post that Pete passed on to the forum! I know the troubles and scrapes are not what you want, but your attitude in writing about them and making me laugh was just what I needed today! Been very ill and still am too sick to post or do much of anything else! Did get my taxes done between the feeling bads and in the mail today....nothing like waiting until the last moment! Thank God that they will be posted by the 18th which has given many people more time to file and mail them, including ole sickly great-granny, ME!!

My prayers are with you all and Brian, Please don't worry about when you will be leaving this old world and going to Heaven, as it is the best place to be and you will be well and whole with it being soooooo wonderful there when your Spirit goes back to God Who gave it! You will be with Poppy and many more with your own family following in their own time! You will miss them and they will miss you but THE BEST is Being With Jesus when you all are together again in Paradise! Love ya all in the name of Jesus! Amen! Sister Ma and Gamma Betty

I know your humor...and it is good medicine indeed...especially for the amount of stress you and the family deal with on a daily basis. One way to keep ones sanity (or what is left of it) without going postal. God bless you all Doug. Love you all and wish things would be better for you all - even pray for things to be better for you.
