Brian is bleeding again.
Posted 5 hours ago
Mom watched Brian long enough for Carol and I to go eat our Valentine dinner this evening. We had just finished eating when she called to tell us that Brian was bleeding from his mouth.
He was bleeding a little earlier today but it stopped fairly quickly. It appears to be slowing down now.
I'll update later.
Thank you for keeping us in your prayers!

The bleeding appears to have stopped.

Brian is sleeping now but the last time we checked he had only traces of blood in his mouth. He understands that a major bleed can't be stopped so major tears rolled down his cheeks at the thought of bleeding out.
We played cards with Nanny and Carol after he relaxed a little and that helped keep his mind off of the bleeding.
We have contacted his hospice nurse and she gave us further instructions if he continues to bleed overnight.
Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers.
We could use a miracle about now!

Still bleeding

Carol stayed in the room with Brian so that I could try to get a little rest. She just woke me to tell me that Brian is bleeding again in his sleep. His chest was partially covered in blood so Carol washed him and put a dark towel down to catch it as it drips.
This is very serious and we have a call in to our hospice nurse.
Thank you for your continued prayers!
