Monday morning...

...snow is still falling on Nashville. From our eighth floor window it looks as if there are a couple of inches on the ground with more expected today.
Brian was moved into a regular room Friday evening. Carol was able to get a little sleep Friday night. Saturday afternoon Brian was able to finally keep his eyes open and was watching TV and playing with his iPad.
Saturday morning they took Brian off the pain pump. He is still getting antibiotics via IV.
Saturday evening and overnight Brian's bowels were giving him fits causing him to get in and out of bed several times. Carol said Brian had to go to the bathroom about every hour on the hour and she got very little sleep.
I got back to the hospital around 9:30 Sunday morning. Carol was able to get a couple of hours of sleep while I took care of Brian. He was still having problems and they have continued overnight again. Needless to say, but I'll say it anyway...we got very little sleep last night.
Brian is worn out from the lack of sleep and frustrated with the plumbing issues. His swelling has gone down a little more overnight but the left side of his face including the eye are still puffy. He still has a little trouble keeping that eye open.
A doctor from plastics just stopped by and said we may go home today! He still needs to confirm this with the head of the plastics team.
Cabin fever is setting in for Carol. Maybe they will release us today or tomorrow and maybe then Carol will release her hold on my neck!
Thanks for your prayers!
