Brian's Battle Update

It worked!!

The new heartburn/antacid meds seem to be working! It took a couple of hours before it kicked in but Brian didn't complain about heartburn after 11am until he went to bed.

He did wake me around 2am and 4am needing pain meds and complaining of heartburn. Maybe after a few days of the new meds they might work around the clock.

Yesterday evening he got in his wheelchair and we went out on the deck and soaked in some of the remaining sunshine. Later when we went to bed he surprised us by getting into the wheelchair and moving around the house.

Praise God for working in Brian's and your lives, Doug, for it is by faith that we live through Him by seeking and leaning on Jesus, always! I pray the meds will relieve his heartburn around the clock and no more heartburn! I know all about heartburns and they are not fun nor good...YUCK! May God keep on blessing and helping you each to overcome all burdens in your trials of sickness and disease! Amen! Ma Betty
