He is resting peacefully. Last night he cracked a smile and raised his right arm and pumped his fist as if he won the game...or maybe the battle. Our very good friend Jackie was watching and said that he must have beat me in a game of b-ball!

Brian was asked to write an article about his life for the the paper I work for, The Knoxville Journal. He wrote a total of 27 articles and below is his first one.

Thanks for the update, Liz, and Brian and family are still in my prayers! You have a beautiful smile Brian, so keep on smiling although I know that the pain and discomfort have to be very stressful and unpleasant for you, but please know that you are a miracle and keep giving others hope and faith in knowing that they (we) can endure and overcome our sicknesses and diseases that we bear but in God's sweet and comforting love like you.....Keep the faith and know we pray and love you all very much!
