BRINGING IN 2005 WITH A SILVER BANG!

Started off 2005 with a SILVER BANG! Went out with one of my hunting partners on NEW YEARS DAY to an Old City Park, down in the bad section of town. I got a 1944 Washington Quarter at approx. 7" with my CZ-70Pro, and my CZ lost her virginity! City Park hunting is very new to me, and it was only my 3rd trip to a city park, that is over 100 yrs. old. In Dec.2004, me and 2 different hunting partners hit my first and second old city parks got an old copper relic, and some clad. But, NO SILVER or even a WHEATIE! I guess the third time is a CHARM, and a Great Way to start off the New Year!
My hunting partner got a complete set of thin Silver 3-Hoop Earrings, while hunting the playground area. Other than that, we got some clad, and alot of pieces of shredded up aluminum cans. I thought I had my first piece of gold with my CZ, signaled Relic/Foil, but it turned out to be a Gold Tone PULLLTAB! Ahh SH@#! Oh well, I'm just grateful to get some SILVER!
This isn't a very big deal for many of the experienced detectorists. But considering that I only got 2 Silver Dimes (1-Merc/1-Rosie) in all of 2004, other than in Competition Hunts. A SILVER WASH. Quarter is a BIG DEAL for me!
I want to finish by wishing EVERYONE ON THE FINDMALL FORUMS, A VERY HAPPY/PROSPEROUS/SAFE & HEALTHY NEW YEAR! Now, go out and find some GOLD/SILVER & RELICS! HH,NamVetLesTreasureSeeker
