Broken ACE arm cuff

upnorth

New member
I fell and snapped one side of the plastic arm cuff, that the Velcro retainer goes through. I Krazy glued it and waited 24 hours, half an hour out, snap. Next I repeated the procedure with Permatex Ultra Bond Gel super glue. It lasted for about an hour. Anyone know of a glue that will actually work on this type of plastic? I have the 9x12 coil on now and it is noticeably weightier.

Gorilla Glue may work.
You can buy it in small bottles.
I think if you can get some plastic bottle and cut it like the shape of the cuff and use the Gorilla glue and let it cure it'll hold.
For that matter a plastic bottle in the shape of your arm cut up like the cuff and fitted in the old cuff should work.
Not pretty but who cares

ACE 250 arm cuff is 14.95 retail

I didn't know that it was so cheap, thanks. Thought that it was like the auto companies, stroke you 70 bucks for a 3 dollar part.
