this morning,all of the work force where I work had a meeting with the plant manager.He told us"The bottom line is this;if either Chrysler or GM go under,we will not be far behind".....This afternoon,Chrysler announced it was filing Chapter 11 bankruptcy.At this point;I do not even know if I have a job to go into tonite.Am I scared??No,not really-The LORD will see all of us through.Prayers for me and my workforce,please.Steve-PS:My L-shoulder is really hurtin me;I have to go back to the Dr.Monday to find out the MRI results-there is a LOT of popping,and snapping going on in there;its stiff and QUITE painful-if my co. goes out of business;I dont know what that will mean for me if I have to have surgery....warthog...

My knee injuries and hearing loss are both covered by the Washington Sate for the rest of my life because the injuries happened while on company property for the purpose of active working at my regular job.
I don't know for sure nut I feel confident that "most" states are reqired to have similar provisions.

If ya lose the job look into No Worker Left Behind. Might as well get more education and have better chance of getting work down the road. I am looking into that. 9 AM Thursday I will go to a meeting about it and see if I qualify. Got a flyer from MichiganWorks! listing programs listed in demand for my area includes approved training leading to employment in the fields listed.
That won't help with the surgery though. With the hernia I have and the right shoulder injured (sounds a lot like your left one), I won't be able to get surgery for either unless God finds a way. Maybe we could wait for Goes4ever to complete his No Worker Left Behind training as a surgeon and he can work on us both....maybe some picnic table some place in a park so we can go detecting after the surgery. Whatcha say Terry?

Yes .....Like Pete said the No Worker Left Behind is a great program......My employer wont lay me off completely, so I could go into the program.....even though I haven't worked in two weeks!? Looks like Chrysler is going to file bankruptcy and I think there will be more to follow! Hold on for the ride its gonna be a rough one!
