buffalo nickel - date worn off

I spent the da searching my property and turning up lots of old memories from whe I built our house, when my folks arrived from out of town and showed me a buffalo nickel they got as change down the street.
The nickel's date is worn of, but all four legs are down. Any ideas?

Most the buff nickles i have , the date is wore off, cause it was in raised numbers i think, nice find tho
