building a smaller coil

after reading many posts on the geotech forum and posting here on the modifications forum I believe it I can build a smaller coil even with the tiny amount of electronic savy I got.
I called Bounty Hunter last week about something unrelated and I asked them when they were releasing a smaller coil, he said he didn't even think one was in the works! so if I want one I guess I'm gonna have to build one or have someone build one for me.
So if anybody has any imput on this or advise, I'm all ears.

Building a coil sounds like fun they're not hard to build, primativily, but they are hard to get right...hehehehe

They have done lots of small coil for white, fishers, minelab. Maybe ask the guy who own sunray if they have any plans for a T2 small coil? If they had shielding issues with the current coil, it may be a hard task for even a skilled electronics person.
