HELLO AGAIN,
THANKS FOR EVERYONES PREVIOUS HELP!
I HAVE ANOTHER ONE. I FOUND THIS BUTTON TODAY. THE PICTURE IS BAD, BUT IT IS THIN COPPER, is about as big around as a nickel, and has no back...back is concave.
the front has an eagle with the arrows and olive branch in his claws, and the shield on his chest. it has stars all around the outer edge, and real fine horizontal lines going across it.
thanks!

that is the one, identical to the one i found. what is an approx. age? any value?
thanks alot!

what is the name of the book you have, and authar.

I tried to post a link but it was edited out by treasure forum. but if you put both underlines togetherdepot and replace the characters in previous sent you can go to the button book there.

It is Civil War era, but with the back missing it may not be worth very much.

Unfortunately, I don't have Albert's button book or the ID experience to give you a more specific date, but some here on this forum do. Not having the backmark may make it more difficult.

Nice find, nevertheless!
