Close to an old stage stop I pulled this up. And some scrap pieces of copper I found here also.It was so muddy in the field I got permission to come back in the spring. My boots were the size of watermelons but the time I walked 40 yards. It might be brass or a gold plated button, not sure. I can see the gold color coming through in spots the more its rubbed. Thanks in advance for any help.
