Found this on a farm property (73 acres) with a house from the 1700's and one from the 1800's. So far found a "treble gilt standard colour" button and early 1900's coins.
Is this one also a button? (7/16th inch)

Could it be the head of a tack; such as an upholstery tack? Just a guess - JH
