Buying a new deus

I am considering buying a new deus. Should I get one of the hf coils or stick with the stock until I get familiar with it. WS4 orWS5? set-up .I dont like heavy headphones anymore and want to go light. I also like the backphone and not the hockey puck.I will mostly hunt coins and relics with an occasional beach hunt. I am looking for any helpful hints and insights. Thanks!

I think to start a Deus with a 11" coil and a control box is the way to go. You can get the backphones and add a full muff headphone after from Deteknix if you want to later. Both of the HF coils are about 9" coils and you will endup with one at some point but to get the standard coil which is 9" plus a later HF coil at 9" is a waste. There is a Deus bootcamp this month near Albany with 2 seats left I highly recommend it.

Check out Calabash digger’s YouTube videos using the HF coils. Very informative. I love the Hf coils at the beach especially the elliptical. I’m only a beach hunter for the most part though. Good luck!
