C$ do you use.. rod ...hip.....or chestmount? opinions.....

isnt hipmounting harder to read the meter vs chest mount? is it that heavy with the 8" coil...or are you using the 10.5?

ch hunting anyway, I dig most everything. The only thing that is descriminated out is iron. The hip mounting will ease the elbow joint discomfort that comes from repetative motion such as swinging a detector. I think they call it tennis elbow.

Mike

Do you think you can use the Baker straight shaft with the C$?

Babb's straight shaft made for the unit ?? <img src="/metal/html/clap.gif" border=0 width=20 height=30 alt=":clap">
I have them made for me by Bill Babb and the straight shaft also has a twist lock on it for the lower rod.

difference in the ergonomic design which would help with elbow fatigue?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike
It has no provisions for the mounting plate. The assumption was chest or belt mount on the control head.
As for making a big difference in the ergonomic part of it, that would be in the individuals opinion. If you feel a straight shaft would make your arm feel better, it would help you. With the larger coil it makes it a bit more comfortable to sweep with.
