Cable Law Discovery

Everything in the universe has an opposite, + and -, N and S, matter and anti-matter, but there are some laws which up till now have seemed immune from this principle. It is well known that if you have a long length of cable, the more it is used the more tangled it will get, until you end up with a gigantic knot that takes hours to unravel. This can be seen on a small scale in the length of cord on a telephone receiver where eventually you have to hold the phone base in the air and let the handset spin in a self unwinding mode. To observe that there is a natural anti cable tangling law takes may months of careful observation, but I am now convinced that it does exist.

Hi Carl and Gary,
Perhaps the recent planetary alignment has caused time to go backwards and the cable is reverting to its original unknotted condition. That would also explain why my hair is getting thicker and darker. Ah, there's the postman with those germanium transistors I ordered.
Eric.

Sure enjoy your commentary and the way you run this... It surprises me how well it has done ever during the summer months when the forums usually go very slowly...

Hi
Maybe it will be possible to use that cable tangle around effect to make energy for a small PI unit, like an rubberband airplane?
