When I was reading through the archives, I thought that it was recommended to have the shielding for the coil connected to the shielding of the cable and then have that connected to the ground of the electronics. But it also looks like cable (e.g. RG-5
with just one conductor and a shield are used to connect. Do people typically use two of these co-axial cables, a "twin-axial" type of cable, or ground the one side of the coil to the shielding of the cable? This would be for a single loop coil. Thanks for all of the information in the previous posts and any replies.
