The Gold Band sure does look like it could have been homemade, but if it isn't, then I would have to agree with you that it is quite old. Great Find! The Silver Ring is a nice looking addition to your Treasure Trove and should look great along with the rest of them. Looks like this Lake of yours is going to produce for a long time to come and I can't wait until the next "SKULLY'S ADVENTURES OF MODERN TREASURE HUNTING" finds. You could make this into one of those "fishing type shows" but with Treasure Retrieval instead of fish! As always, Good Luck and HH!

The gold ring looks like it was resized. It may have had to be cut off at one time and that would a count for the damage and resizing.
