Just out of curiousity have you ever figured out what the gold content of all your gold finds are worth? HH.

Eddie I havent tried to figure that out yet......I see a lot of guys sending their gold in to refineries....
Why... unless the jewlery is broken or it's something no one would ever buy!
How much scrap gold is really in a 14K mens wedding band...Worthless really!!!
Now put that plain wedding band on E-bay which would cost $300.00 to $400.00 new,
and you would get two to three times as much as the refineries would pay you...
It is worth more as a ring than the gold in it. Right...Just my Option

Hey Scully, are you hunting in salt water? I'm getting ready to go to Destin, Fl. with my Ex II & Excal, but I haven't used my ExII on the beach yet. How high do you run your sens (10.5 stock coil) & do you find more with your ExII or Excal?

I agree with you Skully that any gold item is worth more as is then to have it scrapped just for the gold content. I myself like to see all the gold items I found that I keep in a ring case and it's kind of neat to show them off to my friends. Our Mexican cruise was great!! The weather was nice in the high 70's and low 80's. It's nice to get away and just relax and leave all the work and stress behind you, but reality finally sets in and we have to go back to work. The only pirates I saw on our ship were those one arm bandits in the ship's casino!! I won a little, but those buggers got it all back and then some........ I missed getting out detecting, but we have a club hunt this Sat that I have been waiting for and this place should produce some silver. HH.

You are getting way too much Gold Skully. Best start looking for the Silver. You sure found another great find with that Gold Ring with 15 on it with 2 Diamonds in it. That will look great with all the others you have found. Man, what I wouldn't do to find sites like that, especially when they keep producing like they have for you. So, how many Gold Rings are you at for 2007 so far??? Keep that Gold comin', because I think you are going to shatter last years totals easily. Continued Success and Good Luck and HH.
