I JUST BOUGHT ONE FOR MY GRANDSON TO USE,IS IT HARD TO OPERATE, IS IT A GOOD ONE TO USE. ARTIE
 
at all.I have one that I use on occasion.It has twin levels of discrimination which aides in identifying targets, it also has a threshold that you may use or choose not to.Its a very nice detector for coins and I think your grandson will have fun with it. Merry Christmas!!
