Hello everyone, I'm new here. The wife and I recently went to molalla river in Oregon (rock hounding) mainly for agates and jasper but I stumbled upon this weird looking rock that has blues, Purple, and red colors in it. It appears to run though the entire rock as I can see areas on each side that have the same types of coloration. Does anyone have any idea of what this stone could be? It looks crystalized. I'm waiting until I can get a lapidary saw to cut it rather then just busting it with the rock hammer. Sorry the pic's are not the greatest.
