Can anyone tell me how to delete a post? Thank you.

Only way I know would be an email to Guv. Of course you could edit the post, erase all text and change the subject to N/T. :)

Well, the Explorer II is on it's way to Nevada and the SE will be here tomorrow. Life moves fast!

I look forward to your posts Mike...I'll be a couple months down the road before I decide to get one or not...looking at the previous posts about possible problems...I know minelab is good about fixing problems but if there are bugs...I don't like bugs:ranting:

We'll see. I'm sure there are plenty of them that don't have any problems. And if mine does have one I'm sure that between KellyCo and Minelab it will be quickly remedied. That's why whatever machine you hunt with, it pays to have a backup. I have an Excal for the beach and a CZ-70 for the land, so I'm set.

Mike
You will like the SE it is a great detector. I wasn't going to go for one but a deal came up and I just went for it. I really want to learn this one. I have noticed a lot of parks here have rules about digging such as "No digging. Surface finds only."

So I'm confused...you have an SE too? And you just bought my Explorer II? Or am I misunderstanding?

Surface finds only? What would be the point? They might as well say "No Metal Detecting". I guess there are some folks who like to dig clad. I used to be into it but doesn't do much for me these days. It's most useful to me at the beach...like a trail of breadcrumbs that leads to the gold. :)

By the way, you're Explorer II is on the way and all the goodies neatly packed and insured. Darn thing was $31 to ship...I kind of underestimated that. Oh well. I think you will be quite pleased when you see it.
