I have a friend who wants to sell it and he says its only because it is too heavy for him. Other that the weight do most of you that have one like it? If not why not. I have seen all the positive posts on what people find but would like some more opinions too. thankyou

i got 10 by 12 sef for my explorer se love it and not that heavy to alittle more then stock but not bad

i hate it because it makes me dig these monster holes on the beach.

but i do truly love it for the exact same reason...................i dig many deep dimes deeper than what u see here and my excal buddy can not even hear them.

i do not like digging that deep, my arm and shoulder do not like it.

u did not say where u were going to use yours if u get it, but if the beach is it..................u will have a hate/love relation also...............dirt......o m g.

I use the 10X12 on my Exp II, it's a killer setup. I run almost max gain and sensitivity because it's such a stable coil in all soil types. I hunt in trashy, iron-infested areas and that's where I pull the keepers. Just last week I pulled a nice Barber quarter that I hit at 11-12". Sometimes I think it's a disadvantage because of it's size, but it proves me wrong every time. Seperation is really something else with this coil.

I rarely take mine off even in trashy areas, just because ive learned to work it and it separates so well. The Pro coil is lighter... maybe more sensitive, but man ive found some tiny tiny bits of copper and earring backs with the SEF. Its hands downs the best coil ive used and is a great all around coil.
