Can someone answer a question for me?

What years were our silver coins converted to the clad coins we're all so used to seeing nowadays? Nickles, dimes and quarters. I've dug alot of older ones, but I'm not quite sure if they're silver or clad. Thnaks!

The last silver dimes and quarters were made in 1964. Halfs were made for circulation, with some silver( 40%) until 1969.
1965 and newer US coins, are considered, clad ( or sandwich type ) coinage.
