Can someone teach me the CHICKEN DANCE!!!!!!!

Out hunting a CW campsite, finding bullets and a few button backs. MXT gives off a beautiful highpitched tone a VDI +90, in pinpoint mode the target was very smooth and smaller than what you would get when you hit a pop can. Dug down about 6" and out pops my oldest U.S. minted coin EVER!!! Had the digi camera with me to record "THE MOMENT".
First pic, I see a BIG SILVER COIN roll in between dirt clods. I'm beginnig to shake just a little at this point, nothing serious, YET! Can't see it but coin is at end of DX-1 probe, all I see is an edge of a silver coin at this point.

I hold up coin to camera to take a closer pic of coin. I notice writing on edge of silver coin but it is mispelled. My heart is beginning to skip a few beats at this moment! Pic is a little blurry, I'm starting to shake too much, LOL!

I knew I had a big silver coin at this point and was hyperventilating! Once I saw stars on Obverse and PLURIBUS on Reverse, I knew I had an oldie!!!

Here is picture of coin after running cold water on it. There are a couple scratches on coin but the way the coin came out intact in a dirt clod, I knew these scratches were from a plow and not from me probing with shovel. Can anyone teach me the CHICKEN DANCE?!!!!!

Wow!!!!! If I found something like that I would invent my own dance. Any people around would think I was crazy. But, I would be grinning and dancing anyway.

Congratulations, great find.

I would be doing a lap dance with my MXT if I had that nice of a find.
And to think you used THE STOCK COIL...all congrats to you...

The stock coil did great but next time I'm out there, I'm going to go even smaller to a 5.3 coil. There are a ton of square nails in this area and with the smaller coil I should be able to sniff around the ferrous targets and find the good stuff if you know what I mean.

Alot of it has to do with just getting the coil over the "right spot". I've gone over areas previously and found really nice coins and just the day before realize I was just 2 ft.away from finding it. Just goes to show that a place is never hunted out.
