From the land of the Bluenose........God works in mysterious ways. At least he has a job. Often see street people who are wasting their time on earth and have skills, talents and experiences that would enhance our community. Recall the three "S' of the Salvation Army....Soup, soap and salvation.......how true!

here in the States there are very few jobs available and if you are older they won't hire you. Many skilled older workers are applying for Social Security here because they can't get work. It was announced by talk show hosts that our Social Security is now bankrupt. My son-in-law says that there is a rainy day fund and it should be good for 2 years but at this rate it won't last long.

Hello Leslie and Paul.....there are those who won't work even if you gave them a job, but many of our US citizens have been let go and the factories or businesses closed! There aren't very many jobs out there to get and if there are they are of little pay for supporting one person let alone a family! But still remember God does work in mysterious ways and He is still in control by our having faith in Him controling and guiding our lives daily! Prayers work wonders when prayed in great believing faith and He never leaves nor lets His true believers down! The trials we go through and there are many for each of us is to make our faith even stronger and draw closer to Jesus! If we don't, then we leave and He is no longer near unto us! But when we draw nearer He draws nearer to us! Faith moves mountains out of the way, so don't give up Paul in the Lord moving in your favor on a job and supplying all your needs....even if the SS does vanish, we still can believe and have faith our Lord and Savior is with His own and will meet our every need....even in the hard times and trials of life! Keep the faith in Him, for without Him we are lost! AMen! God Bless! Betty
