From the land of the Bluenose.....another great day in Nova Scotia and with Marie at a family thing I was free to tackle swishing Loop D1. Driving Otto at 100km down the highway it was like a roll of the dice whether the gold streak was going to go on or come to and end!

Loop D1 has three spots and the first one was fairly quiet save for the group of youths at the far end drinking and carrying on. At least the music they were playing was not a country song about my dog died, my truck broke down and my wife left me.
Netted a few coins here and moved on to the second spot, took a look and turned around and motored on as it was just too crowded for this bouy who was going to do a combo dig at this location.

Third time was a charm........or rather a gold ring!

Digging here netted me a copper ring and a few pennies before I went aquatic straining with the effort of every recovery as the bottom is tough here as well as tough on the sieve. Half way through this swish this puppy showed up in my "dredger."

Of course I also rescued a one winged eagle from the lake. Take for the day was the gold ring, copper ring, 3 earings, 10 peso Mex coin ( a first for this bouy) and 30 coins @ $6.26
