Did some testing and I was impressed with the goldbugpro and its response to canadian clad.It likes it,Hits good soild VDI on flat coins-machine swung 1.5" above and set on 80 gain-40 disc.A few coins are jumpy VDI numbvers but not as bad as I thought it would be.Problem is these are new coins-old coins-that have been in the ground get magnetized and sound way differant-very jumpy VDI-they sound like trash! Also coins on the side jump around alot. Fresh coins at beach and parks will be a snap.
American coins have that copper core. Our coins Iron core.Thats why they can get magnetized.Read a great article all about our modern canadian clad.It made the author very sad,we have enough problems with trash let alone our crazy clad coins.
