Does anybody have problems saving programs with there SE, I use Bryce program in A save 1 but when I loaded Mike Moutray coin program in save 3 on A. Bryce program is gone and Mikes is on 1 Thur 3. Then tried to load Bryce on A 1 Again then Mikes on B1, Mikes program go back to A program and Mikes is back on there. I don't know if I am missing a set or what the heck is going on.:rage: Any help on this problem would be a Great Help.

I "ain't" the sharpest tool hangin' in the shed:biggrin: so can somebody post some step by step instructions to simplify this.

I know most of you fellers' don't have any problems saving patterns or programs...but I get quite a few pm's on it...and the manual doesn't seem to be too specific.

OK,

Here is a problem I have seen done before and this maybe your problem too.
You save the program in the save screen and see it is there as you say, but now when you want to change to a different program many will go to the save screen again and hit the one they want only to over write the one that was there with the one they were using. The problem is you have to go to the select option, not the save and clear out the screen then scroll down until you get to the pattern you want and load it up and that should take care of your problem.

I did this several times myself when I started with the Explorers and easy to do, just remember save will save what you are running in that screen area and over write what was there. Select is where you choose the pattern you want to use and I find that I clear out my old pattern first, the select the one I want to use.

This is what it sound like is happening and hope it is something that simple and you can correct it.

Good explaination Rick. I'm still new to the SE and I had that problem too. I down loaded the SE Emulator so I could practice that kind of stuff.

Thank You Rick, I will give it a try. I messed with it for about 5 hrs this weekend, I did every thing I could think of. Then got to wondering if it would only save if I would go to the reject pattern and reject nails or something else. Thank You Again Rick:thumbup:

Not sure if this is what you are doing but I don't think that there are different custom pattern slots for each user.

Will explain further if needed.

Chris

Chris I am so lost over this from start to finish. I have no problem if I stick to nails and bottle tops, in reject, but when I try to store lets say the program Bryce uses and then another program it will over ride Bryce's program. I called Minelab to see if they could walk me though it on Monday they told me all techs were working on machines an someone would call me back, I called back today got the same answer as yesterday. I ask the girl if anybody other than a service tech could just walk me though the steps to see if I am doing this right she told me someone someday would call me back. I am in no way happy with that for service or help out of Minelab. If you could it would be great help for me. So I don't bother Minelab outstanding service department and help desk.

I think I got this problem solved now. I am going on a hunt on friday with a couple buddies, will see if all the program stay locked in. Thanks Everybody for the Help.
