Carry bag for F75?

Does anybody use an extra long gun style bag for their detector?

The problem I have is my F75 measures about 55" from top to bottom the way I adjust it for my height, so I need a bag that's at least 57" to comfortably fit. And I'm looking for one that's deep all the way across, so the coil and control box (preferably with short ground stand still attached) can fit in comfortably without having to adjust or take stuff apart.

I'm using a bag now that's about 53" and I have to let the coil and part of the bottom rod stick out, that kind of defeats the purpose of a bag.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I've got one that I have to shorten the coil rod about 2 to 3 holes and flip the coil back over the rod, but it does hold the detector without breaking it down in any manner and zips completely tight. I had to make several call to various dealers to come up with one that was deep enough so as to accomadate the height of the screen and still zip up the bag. Good luck. HH jim tn

Thanks, Jim. I know I can shorten the rod and I've done that, but before I go through that I usually just let the coil hang out. Can't believe nobody makes a longer bag 58-60" long and deep.

Oh well, I'll keep it on my wish list.

HI Marcomo, I personally use the MINELAB DETECTOR BAGS for alot of my detectors!! The END (where the coil is) FLARES OUT for additional size and
space my F-75LTD fits in it VERY WELL!! But, NOT with an AFTERMARKET Detector Stand on the Detector!! I personally use one of PLUGGER' F-75 Detector Stands!! It is a WELL MADE stand out of PVC, and the LEGS screw into the Stand Base, and the BASE Just CLAMPS ONTO
your detector shaft!! It also has a Set Screw, that will KEEP the Stand BASE In Place!! Hope this helps, Les Robinson

Thanks for the help, Les!

Any chance you could put a tape measure to the ML bag when you get a chance and tell me how long it is?

Marcomo, I'll try to do that later tonight, when I get home from another part of my state. I won't be able to post an answer until sometime TOMMORROW Night!! Les
