Casey thanks you all for the prayers....she is home now

Pete in MI

She commented that labor (child birth) was a pain scale of 10 out ot 10 and the tonsilectomy is a 9 and a half out of 10.

She is doing better. Thanks for the prayers.

On the way to the hospital I called 911 because a Meijer semi kept going to the right side of the road hitting the rumble strips. I gave the mile marker and then while I still had the dispatcher on the phone I said I see police flashing lights ahead. He said they are working an accident and he said he would try to get one of the officers to stop the semi driver. I kept watch in the rearview mirror...never saw an officer pull the guy over and also after awhile never saw the truck in the rearview mirror either and I know he didn't turn off onto a ramp as there was none.

The accident btw was a rolled over van reqiring the cutting off of the top of the van to get to the people inside....2 ambulances, 3 police cars and an awaiting stretcher along side the shoulder. Prayers for all the people and the families of those involved. Prayers for the safety of emergency personnel and prayers for tired motorists who need to stop and rest. God protect them all in Jesus name. Amen.

You are welcome Casey and Pete! Prayers are asking for God's help in Jesus' name, Who is always there to help us in time of need and when we ask! I saw a Hispanic looking man driving a truck one time while traveling I-44....he was zig-zagging back and forth and I know he was very sleepy or drunk and possibly both! I didn't have a cell phone then, so couldn't call for help to see about his driving, so just passed him as quickly as I could and went on down the highway to Rolla and then my sister's place near Newburg, MO. A lot of accidents are caused by driving too long at one time and doing without sleep for long periods of time or when a person is too ill to be driving and travelling on the Interstates & Highways!

Prayers for those involved in the accident and those on the highways and etc. who had to be patient until the accident was cleared away and anyone injured taken away! Sometimes it is a long wait.....for Cliff and I were in a long line of slow moving or parked vehicles because of an accident when a large truck with a large hole in the side where it had been on fire and stopped the moving of autos!

I hope and pray Casey will be healed and back to healthiness soon and may she draw near to Jesus then He will draw nearer to her! May she be saved before it is everlasting too late! Amen! May God Bless! Ma Betty

praying for a good recovery. Man them two fires up there are bad!

The north east to south west wind (from God) is the only thing that kept the town and the church from going up in smoke as well. We do not generally get a north east to south west wind up here. Most is north west to south east from Canada....which had the wind been from that direction the town and church would be gone.

The other fire was at Camp Grayling - the National Guard base. That has been under control. As far as I know, unless the rain we are getting now has helped - the fire is still going.
