From the land of the Bluenose...just watched CBC's Fifth Estate program on that fellow. Hope I don't step on anyones toes but Lord love a Duck it sure reveled the truth. Faith healing, "praying" on the eldery and sick....was very disturbing to say the least! We should all be able to stay in $10,000 a night hotels ant tip the doormen $1000 and live in a ten million dollar home and be tax exempt and not even accountable to anyone with a forensic auditor finding not a cent of donations going to charity or programs. Faith healing.......well this ole bouy will pray to the Lord himself for that and to the souls that donate to such a thing!

God promised us eternal life in heaven through Christ's dying on the cross. He never promised that getting there was going to be easy. (I do believe I heard a couple of "Amens" out there <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)"> )
For people who believe God wants us to be rich and healthy, I ask this:
What about Jesus? What about the disciples? What about the REAL ministers around the world who live with so little to profess a Love so great?
 
... perhaps I should have chosen a better word than that... sorry if I offended anyone.
 
In some churches the way people discriminate on how someone is dressed I think they thought it said "Beware of worshippers in cheap clothing."
Been to churches like that and left churches like that - appearance to them is more important than worshipping God.

If your talking about that fellow with the swooped back hair. I wonder if he can heal at all! Truth be known, if anyone believeth upon the name of our Lord and savior, we can all heal. The blessing of miracles still exists today. If it is Gods will, and we have faith, then one can be healed. However, if one professes to be a faith healer, and travels the country professing such, collecting offerings and such, and is truly a man of God. Why would he not want to just simply go and empty out hospitals. I would think he or she would have such a desire and not be drawn to bright lights and sensationalism. But thats just me.
