CEN-TECH PINPOINTER

I've been getting use to the Ace 250 and have found it's a great machine and fun hobby. However I've decided I need a pinpointer and found this one on Harbor Freight website and was wondering if anyone has tried it?

My buddy had a similar one and it took those tiny watch batteries. They don't last very long and are expensive.

I have been using the Cen-Tech item #97245 and have been very satisfied for the money. Costs about $15 or so. Here is a link to their catalog of it:
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=97245
It uses one 9-volt battery and also has a sensitivity control and a light. Can't go wrong with this unit for the low cost.

I've heard that one is a good unit and I placed an order for one but it's on back order.I thought about picking this one up also as a backup or second

I use the one that is black they had 3 in stock when I got mine appx. 16 -17 bucks but it saves a lot of time. Been popping coins real fast using the pointer!! Evansville, IN.
