Was out the other day with the T2SE with the 5 inch coil
Was able to recover several wheat pennies, some as deep a 7 -8 inches in soil littered with iron bits and pieces
Went back today with the 11 inch coil mounted and only dug one.
With the 11 inch coil there were lots of false signals but this is not to say the 5 inch coil did not do the same.
Lots of pops and clicks and high tones, to much to make sense of what was happening
If a guy could cancel out the poor soil condition, im sure this spot would yield several good targets ( i know the silver is hiding in there somewhere)
Any tips or tricks for poor soil condition hunting?
Maybe the only answer is to put the 5 inch coil back on and slow way down
At this site, i balance my machine with fast grab set discrimination at 5 just long enough to here all the low grunts and then raise the discrimination just above that
