Charging the Deus batteries

Does it do damage to the batteries of the coil, control box, or headphones if you forget to unplug them after 3 hours? I'm up there in age and very forgetful. I had to by an alarm clock to sit next to the machine when I recharge it as I did not know if it would hurt the components if left on the charger.

No, you won't do any damage to batteries by leaving them plugged in. I would just plug them in and when you happen to remember, then unplug them later. Each unit will tell you if it is fully charged. The coil usually takes longer to charge up. Nothing to worry about for sure.

From the Deus manual: Do not leave batteries charging unnecessarily and disconnect the power adaptor when the charge cycle is complete or after 180mn

Don't leave them charging for more than 3hrs. Its not the end of the world if you forget but its not good to leave them charging. Although the charger stops charging after the battery is fully charged, it will go into a charge cycle every so often to top off the battery.
You could get a lamp timer. They are $3-5 (get the manual dial type). You can set it to charge for 2-3hrs in a 24hr period. I forget also and it has worked well for me. The digital timer cannot be adjusted easily like the manual timer.

For safety reasons, this is correct. A properly designed battery charger should not cause problems if left on continuously, however, LiION batteries are tricky. If something goes wrong with the charger, these batteries can explode. Many cases are well documented, So in all cases involving these type batteries, charge them, preferably away from other combustibles, when you are around to keep an eye on them, and take them off the charger when completed.
