Cheapo coil cover

No need to spend extra for a coil cover - on my lone star 8" (std) coil, I use a heavy duty gallon size freezer bag, pulled snug, folded over, and secured with tape - works great - smooth sailing across grass tops or other terrain - easy to see thru for target accuracy, and when it poops out, the replacement price is right! As soon as I dig my first silver dollar, maybe I'll purchase the real thing - until then, happy hunting to all, George K

I used a piece of plexy glass I cut in a circle and drilled some holes so I could zip tie it to the coil. Just onther idea that's all

Another good, inexpensive way to protect the coil is to use a "shower cap." The elastic fits perfectly and the size is just right. Happy Hunting
