Today we had the third day in a row of bad storms. I had to run to town (10 miles) to pick up Kody as he had to play in the band at the HS commencement today. I knew there was a bad storm on the radar coming. I got some awesome pics while waiting.

Old Glory getting a work out! It got very windy and dark!

We then raced home to beat the storm, and got more pics!

Oh by the way the next round is on it's way! :( Some areas seen 5" of rain since last night and are seeing plenty of flooding. There were also 3 deaths today.
One from a huge tree falling on a car with a person inside, and the other two were in a car that drove into a 30" wash out were the road had washed away. The car was upside down and they both drowned. Pray for their families!

Yes, Mike, the storms and tornadoes in the Midwest have been many and destructive! One city near Indianapolis, I think, had 10 inches of rain and water was flooding homes, yards and the rescuers were out in boats trying to save those who needed help and one man said that he had 8 inches of water in his basement in 15 mins! Sooooo, we who have been safe during the storms, need to give God more praise for His blessing us with protection and safety! Therefore, Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for all you do for us and our families!

God Bless!
Betty

Amazing pics Mike (sorry to hear about the deaths).

We had some heavy thumper bumpers move through last night (it was in the 90's this weekend w/ high humidity) but nothing like yours...

...you guys have really had some rough weather. I know the rain is a blessing for you though, it keeps the grass growing and the ground soft for digging!!
