This is one of the 5 LC's i dug in my yard. ( i believe they were a cache or a spill )
This particular one was dug in the spring of '09
and it has been soakin in olive oll up till 'bout a week ago.
I actualy lost it in the house all this time, that's why it soaked er so long.
Anywho, when i put her into the oll she was very crusty and
i could barely make out the date,
She must o' been pretty new when dropped.
Man, i would love to see one o' these in her new shiney copper glory.:drool:
Even tho she has a few crusty areas on 'er she's the pertiest
LC i've had the pleasure to see.
( truth be told, imo, Lady Liberty is actualy one homely lookin gal )

We've got a few good old sposts to dig stuff from.
 
my motto is.... slap that bull in the azz and chase him to my plate :drool:
 
I have also heard that it's best to use EVOO. I don't kno why tho.
I am on a mission now, i will git me a botle o' EVOO and compare 'em.
