Check your threading under the pinpoint switch.

My nut continues to fall off and the pinpoint switch falls back into the housing. I feel the post that comes out of the housing is to short compared to other machines and not enough threads to hold the nut on. Back to the factory with this one. Whats your thought's on yours? Nail polish to hold it is not an option. Can anyone measure the nut for me? Thanks :veryangry:

Thanks, good comment. The threads are slightly tapered first turn. Not a lot showing on mine after that. I was able to easily tighten the nut 1/8th turn.

Mine has about 2 turns on the outside...It might be a good idea to just touch it with clear fingernail polish... You might be able to take the nut off, put it on a bolt it fits, snug a second one up against it(back side) and take a Dremel tool with a small sanding drum (fine) and cut some of the nut off....too a small piece of teflon tape will help...just thinking out loud...hope ya get it...RichardnTn

Any of you guys got a camera and can show us the switch problem? Surly would appreicate seeing some pictures of your whole unit. Well...while I'm asking for the world...Any of you techy guys got any video with sounds of Tek T2, working a find...Now wouldn't that just be too awesome! hehehe

Found a plastic wing nut that threaded nice and tight. Cut the ears off with my Dremel Tool. The Alien Rocks, all others just roll. :wiggle:
