Checking out an old church

Over the weekend I had a chance to visit with an old friend about hunting, deer hunting that is. Well he said last year he bought a ranch and there is an old stone church on it and the rock at the peak is engraved 1821. So over the holidays I'm invited to come out to see it. I told him of my hobby and he said "have at it son". I am losing sleep thinking that there is a 100% chance nobody has metal detected around this church before since it is 2 miles back on his property and all grown over. Going to put a fresh load of double AA's in the battery box for this one....I will keep you posted. Tim

WOW! I'm imagining then possibilities too! Best of luck to you!

I hope for you that it has been hidden for many years. Last year I had the chance to hunt three different places in Colorado that I thought were off the map. Only one of the sites produced & not much to speak of. Good Luck & remember hit it in different directions.

Good luck! Can't wait to see what you find. Keep us posted!

Yes good luck hope you find some old stuff

Oh man, that sounds promising . . I'd be losing sleep too. Good luck . .!
