Choice and Chance

Though all have the power of choice, not all have an equal array of opportunities. Some choices limit future possibilities and opportunities. Some individuals suffer disadvantages without the choice being theirs. Consider the disadvantages that cloud the lives of some: children born into homes where drugs are used, where domestic violence prevails, where poverty is extreme. Consider the ravages of violent corruption and desperation. We all, to one degree or another, have been placed in situations that are not of our own choosing.

Matthew 7:1,2 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. I had a very strict father that caused me to dislike most men and a husband who is an adulteror and filed for a divorce and left the home! But Jesus truly saved me and I have forgiven them and myself for their and my choices in life, but I haven't forgotten, for to do so, would be for me most likely to repeat the past....which I certainly don't want to do! I want to follow God's straight and narrow way in the Light of my Lord Jesus Christ, by loving, obeying and worshipping Him and then in His love I can show love, forgiveness and the fruit of the Spirit mentioned above to others, even enemies! God helped me not to do some things that I wanted to do for vengence, but Vengence is Mine, saith the LORD God Jehovah, I will repay!

I Praise God and Thank Jesus, and the Holy Spirit for guiding and directing me in the way I should go and for forgiving me for the sins of the past and to help me not to sin now or in the future of whatever time I have left! May God Bless! Amen! Betty
