Church detecting group/club?

Greetings everyone,
I was thinking about starting a detecting club/group at my church. I figured it would be a great way to get detectorists together, tell the community about the church, and maybe get the opportunity to detect areas that otherwise may not be available.
Are any of you guys (and gals) in church related detecting groups? Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Our pastor and his wife detect, but we really don't have a club. However, maybe I should start one. Pastors daughter detects as well. They always tell me to call them when I go out. Yes, I think you have an idea I should have already pursued. Welcome to our forum!
 
It is a great idea for a big church, that might have enough members tat would also be interested in detecting. Go for it!
