Church Van Route

DK

New member
Had 37 kids on our Sunday night van route tonight. Had both vans full and had to have two people take 8 home in their personal vehicle as we can only run 15 legal on the vans. God is good and blessed our efforts tonight.:clapping:

That is alot of kids for a sunday night. We have two vans on wednsdays and have to take some home in others vehicles also. Keep up the good works. Van driving is truly a gift , driving a church van can be one of the most difficult job sometimes.

Working in the Transportation Ministry can be trying at times but also rewarding. Most of our kids come from broken homes and abusive homes, so at least we can give them an hour or two in a positive atmosphere. I worked in the Ministry at our former church for 13 years, and when I came to our new church, I had no plans of getting back into the ministry, but God helped me see the need and it is good to be serving there. We run about 30 on Sunday mornings, but that is due to some not getting out of bed. Wednesday is our AWANA night and they are running about 40 then. God is blessing us with a a good group of workers. It was a real blessing to our pastor, who just left our church, to see the Transportation Ministry start up again. They had a ministry, but it fell by the wayside. Oh, and Clayton, the kid who broke his arm, was in church today and is doing quite well.

Praise the Lord, for He is good and is good all the time! Serving God in the capacity He has for each of us is a blessing to us and everyone involved! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Thank You DK for All You Do To Make the Lives of These Little Ones a Better Place to Be. Serving The Lord is Good and All God's Children said Amen!

That's awesome, DK. Children need all the positive influence they can get in this world. Looks like what Y'all are doing is working.
